A new friend of mine just got to level 80 and we have starting gearing him up for raids as quick as possible. Here are a few tips for gear.
1. Always follow the 3 G's of getting ready to raid.
Group - Find good groups that are reliable and have time when you do.
Gold - Do your dailys so you can get gear off the AH if needed and to buy flasks and duel spec.
Gear - Combining the other 2 G's and gear should come easy.
Another tip is farming TOC Normal mode. It will have you geared in no time.
